Die Vorlesung ist neu und ersetzt die weggefallene VL Landschaftsplanung (Pensionierung von Prof. Zölitz).
Es wird eine Übersicht über Moore und ihre Bedeutung vermittelt. Folgende Inhalte sind enthalten:
Moore und Torf: Definitionen Terminologie, Klassifizierung und Verbreitung von Mooren Ökologie der Moore einschließlich biogeochemische Prozesse und Hydrologie) Bedeutung von Mooren (Nutzung, Ökosystemleistungen, biologische Vielfalt) Moorschutz und Nachhaltige Nutzung von Mooren (Paludikultur)
