Remarks

This lecture consists of a series of sessions dealing with various geoscientific topics and issues. It is intended to give you an overview of the subject areas covered in the Earth Sciences and Global Change programme and to examine global change from different perspectives. That is why different lecturers will give specialist lectures every week.
You will receive a seminar pass to confirm your regular attendance. This is part of the course requirement ‘Attendance’ for the exercise and lecture (1st and 2nd semesters together).

If you start your degree in the winter semester, the practical application, consisting of exercises, laboratory work and excursions, will follow in the summer semester. You will then complete the module with a report and the continuation of the seminar pass.

If you started your degree in the summer semester, you have already completed the practical part. The report on the exercises, laboratory work and excursions should have been completed in the summer semester. By regularly attending the lecture, you continue the seminar pass (started in the summer semester) and thus complete the coursework for the module.

We are very excited to meet you and wish you a wonderful start to your adventure: MSc Earth Sciences and Global Change
