Diese Sprachkurs richtet sich auschließlich an wissenschaftliches Personal der Universität Greifswald und der Unimedizin Greifswald.

Doktoranden, die keinen Status als Mitarbeiter haben, sowie Studierende werden nicht zugelassen.

Die Kursanmeldung erfolgt per E-Mail an das Sprachenzentrum und ist bis einschließlich 16. Oktober 2024 möglich.

Kursfreie Zeit: 

Vorkenntnisse auf dem Niveau der Stufe B1 des Gemeinsamen Europäischen Referenzrahmens für Sprachen.

The speaking course will focus on developing presentation and networking skills. By the end of the course, participants will be able to introduce themselves and their research in a formal and informal manner. We will also develop listening for gist and listening for details skills, so that participants will be able to ask and answer questions in a conference or formal networking environment. We will build on participants’ existing presentation and speaking skills and we will use TEDtalks to develop listening skills. This course will consist of weekly in-class speaking and listening activities and there will be additional, optional tasks to complete at home and get personalised feedback from the tutor.
