Diese Sprachkurs richtet sich auschließlich an wissenschaftliches Personal der Universität Greifswald und der Unimedizin Greifswald.

Doktoranden, die keinen Status als Mitarbeiter haben, sowie Studierende werden nicht zugelassen.

Die Kursanmeldung erfolgt per Mail an das Sprachenzentrum und ist bis einschließlich 16. Oktober 2024 möglich.

Vorkenntnisse auf dem Niveau der Stufe B1 des Gemeinsamen Europäischen Referenzrahmens für Sprachen

The writing course will focus on developing writing skills in the context of research papers. We will look at the structure of a paper, paragraph and sentence, as well as giving constructive feedback to others. We will think about the audience we are writing for and we will have a look at different types of writing (academic profiles, CVs, etc.). By the end of the course, participants will have a piece of their own work that they have revised and improved using materials provided during the semester. This course will consist of weekly in-class reviewing and feedback exercises and participants will be expected to complete reading and writing tasks outside of the class time. Participants will also be able to get personalised feedback from the tutor on a piece of their writing.
