Kommentar	Info: Wenn keine internationale Studierende sich einschreiben, findet der Kurs auf deutsch statt. This seminar has three thematic focuses: (1) „Bildung", (2) Education and (3) socialization. In the first thematic focus, classical approaches and educational theories are first presented and critically discussed. In the second thematic focus, the approaches to education presented are then contrasted with the knowledge already acquired about educational processes. The third thematic focus introduces the theoretical foundations of socialization research. The question of the social function of the school as an educational institution as well as an instance of socialization and the resulting consequences for educational action are always at the center of the discussion.
