5104125 - Seminar ”Ecological and Evolutionary Physiology”
This seminar is meant for MSc-students within the biosciences who have an interest in ecological and evolutionary aspects of physiological function in animals. We will explore various interesting topics in physiology that are suitable for students from all fields of biosciences.
For each the topic there is one review article and one original article. These articles and all course material is found on the course Moodle (https://moodle.uni-greifswald.de/course/view.php?id=1897). Before each session, each student must read and familiarize themself with the material for that session. The seminar will take place fully in English using so called ”flipped teaching”. Students are divided into smaller working groups and responsible for presenting the original work (I will set up a scheme at the beginning of the seminar).
The seminar will take place in person in the seminar room of the animal physiology working group (B.00.08) on Tuesdays from 12:15 to 14:00.
I invite everyone to an introduction event (Vorbesprechung) on the 14.10.2025 at 12:30 in the animal physiology seminar room (B.00.08) to discuss seminar practicalities. |
