Kommentar	The colloquium forms part of HiCuBaS Modul 2: Interdisciplinary Approaches to the Baltic Sea Region. This module provides an interdisciplinary and multi-faceted introduction into research on the Baltic Sea Region (BSR). The colloquium will provide a short overview over the history of the BSR. A variety of research perspectives and topics related to the BSR will be discussed with guests from various departments and chairs. Moreover, we will tackle such questions as what makes a region a region and what are the special features of the BSR. Short excursions in Greifswald and surroundings will be part of the programme.
