Description

This course is designed to equip students with the essential communication and language skills needed for giving a presentation. We will analyse examples shown on video and practise skills such as structuring information, using an appropriate style of language, using visual aids and adopting the right body language. The course will culminate with each student giving a presentation in class.
Prerequisites

Students must have passed the Module Exam "Understanding Texts".

Um einen Leistungsnachweis im Modul "Oral Skills" zu erlangen muss eine mündliche Gruppenprüfung (15-20 Minuten je Studierendem in englischer Sprache) bestanden werden.

B.A. Modul „Oral Skills“

Qualifikationsziele:

Die Studierenden besitzen eine umfassende englischsprachige Kompetenz in vorwiegend produktiven Sprachtätigkeiten. (C 11)

Inhalte:

• Entwicklung umfassender Sprechfertigkeiten in der englischen Sprache.

• Sicherheit im Verfassen von akademischen Texten und bei der Präsentation von kurzen Vorträgen.

• Erweiterung der Dialog- und Präsentationsfertigkeiten

• Erhöhung der interkulturellen Kompetenz.
