Students have to give 3 presentations: Presentation 1 and 2 will be graded, presentation 3 will not be graded.
Presentation 1 is a group presentation (ca. 5 persons, 15 minutes) introducing an important ecosystem type of the tropics or the southern hemisphere.
Possible topics are discussed during the info meeting and decided before Febriuary 1st, 2025.
Presentation 2 is an individual input of 5 minutes (plus 5 minutes discussion) on a topic connected to the module content.
If possible, please choose a topic in which you are or have been involved, e.g. by personal activities or experiences. Your presentation will be open for discussion for another 5-10 minutes. You can also couple and prepare a presentation together with another student. The form of your presentation is up to you.
Please send your (preliminary) presentation titles until February 1st to : tiemo@uni-greifswald.de.
Presentation 3 will be prepared in a group during the module. It will not be graded but active participation is necessary.
