Seminar: Writing (Dr Brauer)

This Writing course will introduce you to the academic writing of short, 250-350-word academic discussions of various topics to prepare you for your Writing Texts exam. My approach is to first familiarize you with a useful scaffold for such texts, then practice the individual (structural) elements and finally to allow you to practice writing complete essays which will receive extensive feedback from me.

Please note that this course is in person. To succeed in this course, your regular participation in class and your application of my teachings are required.

Please note that we offer Writing courses only once per student, i.e. please make sure you are ready and prepared if you plan to register for this  C1+ writing course.

Please try to take the course Grammar of Written English in the same semester, attend both courses regularly, and complete assignments on time.

This course is taught in-person; regular attendance is required.

• Lehramt Regionale Schule Englisch & Gymnasium Englisch: Successful completion of the modules "Understanding Texts" and "Oral Skills" 

Studienleistungen: 3 complete essays from the weekly assignments or including the mock exam.
